The act of recollecting memories is one that often defies description due to its subjective nature. Through the translation of “real world” depictions of ‘remembering’, this research shall examine the portrayal of memory within the virtual world. This is largely presented as a journey through space and time.

The project involved the creation of a virtual space which visually reflected 'memory'. A subjective exploration of this space then needed to be combined with "real-world" imagey to create a movie which shifted between the physical and the virtual. The viewer is ideally moving back and forth between these two realities. The virtual space was created using the Unreal gaming engine while real world imagery was obtained from photographs and original video footage.
